Gosaikund Trek is one of the most famous short trekking in Nepal, It is in the Langtang region and protected as Langtang National park. It contains a wide variety of climatic zones, from subtropical to alpine, so that this region is also one of the very rich in flora and fauna in Nepal. Moreover, Gosaikund is very famous for Hindu pilgrimage, according to Hinduism mythology where Lord shiva had relaxed and reformatted. It is known as the holiest Gosainkunda Lakes (4,380m) and the beginning source of the Trisuli River. Once in a year, hundreds of thousand Hindus made a pilgrimage here in the month of August.
Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel
Day 2: Day 02: Morning - a short briefing on the trek and its preparations; afternoon – Cultural visit to
Pashupatinath Temple and Boudhanath Stupa.
Day 3: Drive to Dhunche (2,030m)
Day 4: Dhunche to Thulo Syabru (2,210m)
Day 5: Thulo Syabru to Sing Gompa, Chandanbari (3,250m)
Day 6: Sing Gomba to Lauribina (3,900m)
Day 7: Lauribina to Gosainkunda (4,380m)
Day 8: Gosainkunda to Sing Gompa (3,250m)
Day 9: Sing Gompa to Dhunche (2,030m)
Day 10: Dhunche to drive back Kathmandu.
Day 11: Sightseeing in Bhaktapur and Patan Durbar square.
Day 12: Departure.
