The Everest region is known as also Khumbu region in Nepal. Khumbu or the Everest region is the most popular trekking destination in the world. This is one of the straight classical routes to take you to the EBC or Everest base camp. Today Everest Base Camp trekking is one of the most facilitated trekking routes in Nepal in terms of food, accommodation, medication, and trekking trail despite it is high altitude. EBC is one of the most popular trekking routes in Nepal and known as incredible adventurous trekking destination in the world. The adventurous journey starts from Kathmandu's domestic airport to Luka. It is a very interesting adventurous flight of around 35 minutes. Within 35 minutes you are already at an altitude of 2,860m at Lukla. This is the starting point of the trek toward EBC. And step by step every day will keep gaining altitude up to Kalapather (5,545m). During the trek, you will have a golden chance to see the view of the amazing mountains including Mt. Everest, incredible landscapes, and beautiful exploration of Himalayan Buddhist culture on the basis of Sherpas’s religious way of life.

Since 1953 the golden path for every adventurous spirit of the world is explored by Sir Edmund Hillary and with his porter or co-partner Tensing Norgay Sherpa. This region is famous as sacred land for adventurous spirit of the world and the shining path of the Sherpa people for their name, fame, and glorious prosperity of today.  Other hand Sherpas, are known as also snow leopard for mountaineering in Nepal.  sherpas got a chance to come out from poverty and miserable life, avoiding the frozen future under the snow holding the hand of Hillary. Because of Hillary Sherpa got another opportunity to explore the different tests of the professions, power of wealth, and diversity of culture in the world. So that Sir Edmund Hillary lives at the bottom of Sherpa’s heart as long as Mt. Everest lives. Apart from that Everest Base Camp trekking became the way of living of many Nepalese people today, according to their physical, social, and economical class. Despite every anxious step of life, never end dreaming and creating a life story in this region.

Detail Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival to Kathmandu(1,350m.), Nepal

We will pick you up at Tribhuvan international airport and after check-in the hotel briefing on your adventure trip in Nepal.

Day 2: Sightseeing heritage site in Kathmandu(1,350m.) 3 hours walk

Kathmandu valley the is capital city of Nepal with its very ancient civilization and full of heritage sites to visit. As a cultural introduction, you will take to sightseeing Kathmandu durbar square,  Pashupatinath and Boudhanath.

Day 3: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla and trek to Phakding(2,610m.) 3 hours walk

Early in the morning flight to Lukla 35 minutes in the sky with the incredible experience of a lifetime,  from Lukla, you will start a journey of adventure on the roof the world by your feet all along the rocky trail with many explorers; exploring the amazing landscape, culture and way of life. Night stay in speaking.

Day 4: Phakding to Namche Bazaar(3,440m.) 7 hours walk

The Everest region is known as also Khumbu region. It is listed in UNESCO as a natural world heritage site by the name of Sagarmatha national park. During this trekking throughout the hour and day ascend towards Everest base camp. Namche Bazaar is the main entrance of EBC, it is founded as a modern town in the lap of the highest peak of the world, just before Namche Bazaar you can get the first glance of  Everest through pine trees with an amazing smile on your face. Night stay in Namche Bazaar.

Day 5: A day for acclimatization

Namche bazaar is a junction before to depart via a different route to Everest base camp. A day for acclimatization in Namche Bazaar is extremely necessary to accomplish you physically, mentally, and climatically because after there, you will be in an altitude up to 4,000m.to Kala Patthar 5,545m.  During acclimatization day you will get a beautiful chance to see the second time Everest view from  Everest view hotel (it is the beautiful viewpoint of mount Everest), after that Khumjung(3,785m.)and Kunde village visit. There is a beautiful monastery in the village, they believed that the skull in the monastery belongs to Yeti. Night stay in Namche Bazaar.

Day 6: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,860m.) 6 hour walk

Tengboche is itself a fabulous viewpoint in the middle of the rhododendron forest and also very famous among the local people of this region. There is one of the largest monasteries of the Khumbu region. It is situated just down at the foothill of Amadablam mountain, this mountain is one of the most beautiful mountains in Nepal.

Day 7: Tengboche to Pheriche(4370m.) 7 hours walk

Pheriche is a foothill valley of mount Lobuche on the bank of a small river, it was last human settlement in the Everest region in the past. It is really agreeable to walk around to explore high altitude vegetation, grazing yaks, and horses on the both sides of the river. It is amazing scenic sight for photo snaps.

Day 8: Pheriche to Lobuche (4,910) 6 hours walk

Lobuche is just in the middle at the foothill of Lobuche peak and mount Nuptse. Today, you are really surrounding by the highest mountain and on the roof of the world.

Day 9: Lobuche to Gorak shep (5,160m) 3 hours walk

Gorak shep is the last station for trekkers little bit before then EBC just at foothill of  Kalapatthar. EBC is just a couple of kilometers away from Gorak shep. After lunch, you  can hike to Everest Base Camp(EBC) (5,364m.) to turn your lifetime dream in reality in a  lifetime with lifetime Nepal treks &tours.

Day 10: Gorak shep to Dingboche(4,385m.)

Early in the morning hike to Kala Patthar summit. It is only one incredible viewpoint of  mount Everest. After some snaps of beautiful photos saying goodbye to Everest start get down to Gorak shep and having breakfast all the way down to Dingboche. It is also a beautiful valley next to the right side of Pheriche.

Day 11: Dingboche to Namche Bazaar (3,440m.) 7 hours walk

All the way down on the same way back to Namche Bazar. It’s amazing energy to go back home.

Day 12: Namche Bazaar to Phakding (2,610m.) 7 hours walk

On the same way back to Phakding, all most at the end of an adventurous trip wishing to be the flight to Kathmandu on schedule.

Day 13: Phakding to Lukla (2845m) 3 hours walk

You have done your trek successfully but still remain a wish to fly back to Kathmandu on the schedule.

Day 14: Fly back from Lukla to Kathmandu

Fly back to Kathmandu is a final step of an adventurous trip. Fly back to Kathmandu, check-in hotel, and fee day to have rest. Night stay in Kathmandu

Day 15: Sightseeing Bhaktapur and Patan

Bhaktapur and Patan are two different cultural ancient towns in Kathmandu valley. They are listed in world heritage. Night stay in Kathmandu

Day 16: Depart Nepal

After your last night in Nepal, make your way to the airport back home.
