Trip Overview

Tamang Heritage and Langtang Valley trek is one of the most interesting trekking for exploration of Tamang culture, stunning landscape, and amazing mountain view. Tamang heritage trekking is authentic trekking all the way through Tamang villages and their authentic cultural way of life. Tamang is one of the indigenous people of Nepal, They are very very friendly, smiley, and open-minded people of Nepal. In Tamang heritage trekking is very graceful trekking trail with incredible geographical, natural atmosphere with natural hot spring “Tatopani”.

 Langtang valley is an amazingly beautiful valley, there was an existing Tibetan cultural way of life until the earthquake of April 2015. In the earthquake entirely village was swift away by the avalanche of the highest mountain Langtang Lirung. Today entire village reconstructed with the economical help of the international community. still today, we can see the terrible devastating destructive footprint of the earthquake. Despite that unfortunate incident, they have maintain their cultural way of life.

 So, if you don’t have lots of time to trek, don’t want to be concerned with altitude acclimatization, want a more localized experience away from the crowds, or if it is your first trekking, the Tamang Heritage & Langtang valley trek is the one just for you.

 

Detail Itinerary

 Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu. (Pick up and transfer to the hotel)

 Day 02: Kathmandu sightseeing in Kathmandu valley.

 Day 03: Drive Kathmandu – Saprobes (1500m), approximately 6 hours drive by 4WD. 

 Day 04: Syabrubesi – Ghatlang (2240m) (5 hours trek)

 Day 05: Ghatlang – Tatopani (2620m) (5 hours trek)

 Day 06: Tatopani – Thuman (2290m) (5 hours trek) 

 Day 07: Thuman – Bridim (2240m) (6 hours trek)

 Day 08: Bridim – Lama Hotel (2425m) (4 to 5 hours trek) 

 Day 09: Lama Hotel to Langtang (3599m) ( 5 to 6 hours trek)

 Day 10: Langtang to Kyanjin Gompa (3800mtr), hike to Kyanjin ri (4770 mtr) 6 to 7 hours trek.

 Day 11: Kyanjin Gompa to Tserko Ri hike ( 4984m) and overnight at Kyanjin

 Day 12: Kyanjin Gompa to Lama Hotel (5 to 6 hours trek)

 Day 13: Lama Hotel to Thulo Syapru (2127m) (4 to 5 hours trek)

Day 14: Thulo Syabru – Dunche(2,030m)

 Day 15: Dunche Drive back to Kathmandu

 Day 16: Sightseeing Bhaktapur and Patan Durbar square

 Day 17: Back to home

Trip cost include

  Welcome and farewell dinner

  All accommodation and food during the trek.

 ​​​​​​​ An experienced trekking guide, porters to carry luggage (2 trekkers 1 porter) including their salary, insurance, equipment, food, and lodging

 ​​​​​​​ All necessary paperwork and permits (national park permit, TIMS cards)

 Nepal visa fee (bring small denomination USD cash and two passport photographs)

  International airfare to and from Kathmandu.

  Excess baggage charges.

  Extra night accommodation in Kathmandu because of early arrival, late departure, and early return from the mountain (due to any reason) than the scheduled itinerary.

  Travel and rescue insurance.

 ​​​​​​​ Personal expenses (phone calls, laundry, bar bills, extra porters, bottled or boiled water, etc).

 Tips for guides and porters.
